I prefer to paint small because I want to draw the viewer into the painting. Once hooked, they can marvel at all of the wonderful colors that make up just one object within the painting. I like to think that the paintings capture moments of time as well as a feeling of what I was experiencing in that moment. My goal isn't perfection, rather it's an homage to the beauty that surrounds us each and every day. Beauty that's often gone unnoticed by the busy people we have become.
